As a mom, I was concerned about all the “junk” in heavily processed chocolates. What could it do to my kid’s health? When I gave my daughter her favorite treat, chocolate, I wanted it to be a treat in the best sense of the world. That desire led me to research and learn about exactly how chocolate is made and its main ingredient Cacao.
My journey continued with studying chocolate making at the renowned culinary school International Culinary Center in New York City and countless experiments in my kitchen. This wonderful adventure resulted in me becoming an advocate for clean chocolate and fulfilling a life-long dream of working with food. I love the art of blending ingredients from my childhood with exciting discoveries from around the world in the recipes I create. But most of all, it makes me feel good to create a treat that’s both irresistibly indulgent and good for you.
